The ambiance is both upscale and invitingly casual, creating a perfect backdrop for a relaxed experience. The staff members are friendly. While the food was decent, it didn’t quite exceed expectations. We visited for breakfast. I will go back there to try their dinner menus.

I really liked the vibe of this place, and the food was really good so we’ll probably be back. I could honestly eat a giant bowl full of the spinach artichoke dip with that crusty bread. The calamari was pretty good, as well as the short ribs and the burger. The scallops and risotto were a special, and that was good as well. The only thing we weren’t a fan of was the truffled pesto pasta. It was dry and didn’t taste like truffle at all. 2 apps, 4 mains, and 1 drink ran up to about ~$200 including tip which was fine. Overall I enjoyed the meal and would come back.

Patrick & the incredible Waterbury team made our rehearsal dinner and welcome party unforgettable—every detail was executed with care, expertise, and genuine enthusiasm. Their experience in events, food, and beverage was unmatched, even going above and beyond to source wines we loved. The venue itself was stunning, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food and cocktails. They coordinated seamlessly with our vendors and made setup feel effortless. Thank you times a million—it was the perfect way to kick off our wedding weekend.

What a beautiful space! Great staff. So friendly. I love going here as part of the West Maka Ska neighborhood happy hours (usually first Tuesday of the month 5-7pm). And am so excited for the live jazz music here 11/6! I went yesterday for a coffee/pastry and was able to work from there for a few hours in the morning. It was quiet and a great for “working from home.” Also, their strawberry dessert is delicious!

We had an absolutely wonderful breakfast here! Our waiter was incredible. He was super attentive to our table, he was quick, and he was very nice. The food was also delicious! We ordered pancakes and breakfast tacos, and while we were waiting the waiter brought out homemade pop tarts. Everything was so good. The atmosphere was also 10/10. This is definitely one of our favorite restaurants!

We met our daughter at the Waterbury for a lovely lunch. At 2:30 p.m., the bar was free, and we grabbed three seats. Parker took great care of us and answered my barrage of questions with panache. We started with a scrumptious falafel dish that was plated beautifully. I ordered the Caesar Salad with Salmon, and it was not only delicious but also huge. My daughter loved her fish tacos, and the burger was proclaimed to be one of the best. The Waterbury's space could be termed modern elegance, which made this restaurant different from most dining establishments in the Twin Cities. There was a certain savoir-faire at the Waterbury, often missing from the Twin City's dining scene. I will be back.

Such a quaint place for brunch! I had the avocado toast and my friend ordered the west lake sunrise. It was an attractive display of food and the service was great! The restaurant has a different ambience than other restaurants in the twin cities which I love. It’s very inviting! Makes me feel like I’m not in Mpls.
